Brain
Brain is Alfred’s memory system for processing, storing, organizing and recalling information. It is a collection of Cards, which are Alfred’s saved files, resources, generated outputs, and working documents.
How Brain Works
Section titled “How Brain Works”After every conversation with Alfred, Alfred will in the background reflect on that conversation and store pieces of information in the Brain. Over time the Brain becomes a library of information that Alfred can tap into, read, update and refer back to while helping you.
Core Brain Files
Section titled “Core Brain Files”The brain comes with 3 core files that Alfred always makes use of:
- soul: This is Alfred’s own identity, personality, beliefs and preferences it builds up over time.
- memory: This is Alfred’s memory of your interactions with it or events that took place.
- user: This is Alfred’s memory of your personal information.
How to Update Brain
Section titled “How to Update Brain”The Brain is built to update itself automatically, in a scenario where you need to make a change to Alfred’s Brain you can ask Alfred to do so via the Brain Agent. You can also view and edit the Brain files directly from butler.cards, although this is not recommended.
